Earth Spiritualists of Chicago & Life Force Arts Center presents:
Yule Ball & Winter Carnival

December 20th, 2008, Noon-11pm
@ Life Force Arts Center, 3148 N. Lincoln, Chicago IL

Come together with your fellow spiritual seekers for community, celebration, and ritual. We honor the longest night of the year, and with it, the return of the light as the Sun King is born once again. The nights grow colder, and we join together with our clan, our friends and family of spirit, to kindle the fire of community which will last us through the winter. Celebrate with games, music, dance, and divination for the coming year.

This weekend is the Earth Spiritualists of Chicago Yule Ball & Winter carnival at Life Force Arts Center, at 3148 N. Lincoln, convenient to public transportation and near major expressways.  What this means is that you can get into the event for free! Moving the location means there is no admission fee for the event. We'll still be working to raise money for future ESC rituals, education, and other programming through a number of fundraising activities at the event, but this allows everyone to attend regardless of ability to pay an entry fee. We are looking forward to the event, and can't wait to see old and new faces as we celebrate the return of the light. Join us for Readers, Healers, Games, Performers, Storytelling, Belly Dancers, Live Music, Ritual, Drum Circle, and Dance Ball!

(¸.·´ (¸.·`¤~On the longest night, the old Sun King dies; the wheel of the year turns and the year transforms once again. What of your past year will die? What rises within you with the Winter Solstice sun? What are your hopes and prayers for the coming year? Let the light of the reborn Sun kindle the spark within you. What is the light in your heart, and how will it shine this year?

Join us to celebrate together in community and support future spiritual activities, rituals, and education.
